刘智勇    博士,研究员
刘智勇,1976年06月生,博士,中国科学院自动化所复杂系统管理与控制国家重点实验室,研究员,博士生导师,中国科学院脑科学与智能技术卓越创新中心青年骨干,中国科学院大学计算机与控制学院岗位教授。1997年于天津大学电子工程系获工学学士学位,2000年于中国科学院自动化研究所获工学硕士学位,2003年于香港中文大学计算机科学与工程系获博士学位,2003-2004年在香港中文大学工程学院从事博士后研究,2005年至今在中国科学院自动化研究所任副研究员、研究员、博士生导师。在包括IEEE TPAMI和IJCV等发表SCI国际期刊论文30余篇。IEEE高级会员,获2014年国家自然科学奖二等奖(排名第三)。
主要研究方向及内容

1. 模式识别与机器人视觉
对模式识别和机器人视觉中的某些关键问题深入研究,如子空间学习、图优化等。
图优化问题一般为NP难问题,如何在有限的时间内问题求解得到一个精度更高的解一直以来是图优化问题研究的重要方向。我们最近提出一种确定性退火方法尝试来分析和探索此问题,以求得到更好的结果。在此方向上的理论、模型和算法上的进展会对识别和视觉问题的解决带来新的思路和方案。

2. 机器人自学习
自学习能力是(类脑)智能机器人的一个重要特点。我们在两个方面开展研究,即视觉自学习和操作自学习。同时在技术路线方面也有两个层面,即功能(行为)和模型(结构)层面。重点研究机器人在新的陌生环境下如何自主适应环境(感知和操作),以及研究先验知识如何有效加入到这一个过程。
