单保慈    博士,研究员
单保慈,1965年5月出生,博士,研究员,博士生导师。1984年毕业于山东大学物理系,获学士学位。1995年毕业于北京医科大学生物物理系,获硕士学位。1999年毕业于中国科学院高能物理研究所,获博士学位。1984-1992年在华北煤炭医学院物理教研室任助教、讲师。1999-现在,任中国科学院高能物理研究所副研究员、研究员。
主要研究方向及内容

1、正电子发射断层成像(PET)设备研制、数据处理方法及其在神经科学中的应用研究
PET是目前最常用的分子影像成像方法之一,它利用正电子核素标记的化合物作为显像剂,在活体情况下示踪生物体内的生理或生化过程。目前常用的PET成像方法包括:葡萄糖代谢成像,受体成像,A成像和基因表达成像等。本人在PET成像方面的研究主要包括:(1)PET成像设备的研制,研制了我国第一台动物PET,目前本人所在的实验室可以研制动物PET、人体PET以及各种专用PET;(2)PET成像数据处理方法研究,PET扫描得到的图像需要经过数据数据处理才能给出反映生物体生理状态的参数,不同的PET成像需要不同的数据处理方法,本人主要从事PET成像数据处理方法研究,尤其是动物PET脑成像的数据处理方法研究;(3)PET成像在神经科学研究中的应用研究,主要从事PET成像在恐惧记忆大鼠模型、树鼩社会竞争失败抑郁症模型和树鼩触摸屏学习记忆过程的研究。

2、核磁共振成像(MRI)数据处理方法及其在神经科学中的应用研究
MRI(包括fMRI)是另一种常用的活体成像技术,它与PET成像是目前神经科学研究中最常用的宏观成像技术。MRI成像与PET成像各有自己的优缺点,在某些方面可以互补。本人在MRI成像方面主要从事数据处理方法研究,尤其是动物MRI脑成像的数据处理方法研究;另外,与其它单位合作开展一些MRI在神经科学尤其是精神疾病方面的研究。
